Australia and Spain remain top dream destinations for BritsPost by Cameron Davidson on 27th July 2010 in Property markets, Living abroad Australia and Spain are still the top destinations for
people keen on moving abroad, according to a new survey.
Research carried out by Royal Mail shows people are as
keen on moving to Australia as ever, with dreams of sun and an outdoor
lifestyle sure to be among the main reasons why.
The results, which appeared in The Sun newspaper, revealed
one in 10 people questioned by Royal Mail said they would live abroad.
The findings are also consistent with figures from property
website Primelocation, which said earlier this month that Spain was the most
popular destination for Brits looking to buy houses abroad, going by the number of property searches in June.
The Royal Mail survey might also provide interesting reading for
anyone considering international relocation and a move to the Britain. In terms
of the UK, the survey found that out of the whole country, the south west of
England is the most popular place to relocate to.
