Good Brittany property deals still around says agentPost by Ian MacLeod on 26th April 2012 in Living abroad, Property markets Bargain properties can still be found in the Brittany region of France, according to a local estate agent in the region. Two-bedroomed bungalows can be found starting at £80,000, said Town and Country Property France's Richard Dannreuther. Meanwhile, he told the Press Association that the region also offers dilapidated properties as a renovation project available for as little as £25,000. The Brittany region is a short plane flight of as little as two hours from the UK, PA pointed out, and its popularity among French holidaymakers gives property there good potential for holiday letting. Mr Dannreuther said: "Prices have stabilised over the last few months but there are still plenty of bargains to be had. "The lower end of the market is very buoyant and those who don't have a restricted budget can make the most of a huge selection of Brittany properties."
